In addition to being a sports nutrition resource, food inspiration and service provider, Fueling Endurance Performance is also a book in progress, to be published in the 2015. It has been a labour of love (cliché but true) since 2011 and I can not wait to have the finished product in my hands. At first, it was just me experimenting in the kitchen so that I can provide athletes with recipes that will allow them to follow the nutrition guidelines I have given them. But then I realized that there is a gap and a need for something new…

There are many misconceptions and confusion around the actual role of sports nutrition. There is also a clear gap between sports nutrition research, practice and the athletes’ plate. There is an abundance of great, healthy cookbooks available and there are many sports nutrition books available also. There are even a few cookbooks geared towards runners, etc. But there are few books that combine BOTH in the way that this book is designed to do.
